Water and gas re-piping for Humboldt County homes and buildings

Replacing worn-out water and natural gas lines in homes and buildings.

Old galvanized steel pipe rusts from the inside out. By the time you notice brown water or a shower that drops to a trickle when someone flushes, the inside of that pipe is mostly scale.

Re-piping replaces the tired lines with new ones, laid out cleanly and strapped properly, so pressure comes back and the pinhole leaks stop. Maples handles both sides of it: domestic water and natural gas.

Water & Gas Re-piping: what we handle

  • Whole-home water re-piping
  • Partial re-pipes and single-line replacement
  • Natural gas line installation and replacement
  • Gas lines for ranges, dryers, heaters, and tankless water heaters
  • Water service line replacement from the meter to the building
  • Commercial domestic water and gas piping

  3. 03Pinhole leaks that keep showing up in new places

  5. 05A gas smell. Leave the building and call your gas utility first, then a plumber

Questions

Water & Gas Re-piping questions

How do I know if my house needs a re-pipe or just a repair?

One leak on an otherwise healthy system is a repair. Several leaks, poor pressure through the whole house, and discolored water point to pipe that has reached the end of its life. A plumber can look at the exposed pipe under the house and tell you which situation you are in.

Does Maples work on natural gas lines?

Yes. Gas piping is part of the service department's everyday work, and one of the reviews on this site is from a customer who had Maples run gas lines and install a tankless water heater.

Will I get a price before the work starts?

Yes. A Maples technician gives you a project outline and complete pricing before the job begins, so there is nothing to argue about at the end.
