Plumbing in Arcata: what we see
Arcata is a mix of older homes around the Plaza and Bayview, student rentals around Cal Poly Humboldt, and newer construction out toward Sunny Brae and the bottoms. Rentals take a beating, and the plumbing in them tends to get patched more often than it gets fixed.
Big redwoods and older sewer laterals share a lot of Arcata yards, which is a reliable recipe for roots in the line.
