Who runs it
Dale and Shawn Maples
The roots of the company go back to its founder, Wayne Maples, in 1960. Today Maples is run by co-owners Dale and Shawn. Dale, second generation, has nearly 40 years in the plumbing industry. Shawn is a third generation Maples with more than 20 years in plumbing and project management.
The family supports Humboldt area high school and youth sports, vocational programs, and at-risk youth and adults, and often donates labor and equipment to help local non-profit projects get finished.

Most Maples plumbers have been part of the organization for more than ten years, and most have completed the 10,000 hours of training required to become a journeyman. Put together, the team carries over 1,000 years and more than 1,000,000 hours of experience.
